BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT
I recognise that it is essential to use a range of behaviour management strategies and to not continuously use the same. This is as if the same strategies are used all of the time they will not be as effective.
Working in London gave me a lot of experience with behaviour management. I have had to deal with a range of different situations regarding behaviour management. At Goldbeaters we used the red card system. With this system if students were not adhering to the correct behaviour they would be given a warning. From here if they still did not change their behaviour they would lose some of their play time (or golden time which was a Friday treat). If students did still not change their behaviour they would be given a red card. This would mean that they would lose both their lunchtime and recess and the head teacher and parents would be informed.
