My Placements:
YAAPEET PRIMARY SCHOOL:
Mentor teacher: Sheryl Herben
Year level/s: P-6
Yaapeet Primary is a school of 7 students in which all students from P-6 are taught in the same class.
This placement gave me an insight into how to go about teaching a lesson to students of various levels and that is both beneficial and engaging to them. Yaapeet is a small school which is very community based.

YUILLE PARK COMMUNITY COLLEGE P-8:
Mentor teacher: Suzanne Ellis
Year level/s: 6-8
Yuille Park is a school situated in the lower socio-economic area of Ballarat. The school has a lot of disadvantaged children and for many of the students this is the last school that they can attend due to the fact that they have been kicked out of other schools. While on placement at Yuille Park I was fortunate enough to experience how a POD setting works and was able to recognise just how beneficial it was for these students.
